DESCRIPTION |
The Su Hotel Bodrum is in an
intimate oasis located close
to the harbour in the quieter
Western Bay of Bodrum Turkey.
Our turkey hotel is close
enough to walk easily to the
centre of Bodrum Harbour and
far enough to ensure your stay
is quiet and uninterrupted.
Enjoy a Turkey Holiday - the
Su Hotel is decorated with
local crafts, art and antiques
and the courtyard hosts a fine
collection of Mediterranean
plants - from fig trees,
oranges to cacti and
pomegranates.The Su Hotel has
a wide range of activities for
our visitors and
we list a few of these on our
site. The rooms available are
all air conditioned and have
en-suite bathrooms. There are
four suites (each with its own
lounge) and 21 double bedrooms
with many overlooking the
courtyard with their own
balconies. Our staff are
always available to make
special arrangements - please
do not hesitate to ask. We
will plan trips and excursions
or recommend an itinerary for

DINING |
|
Breakfast is served beside the
pool in the shade of the
courtyard and is available
from 8.00 a.m. until 11.00
a.m. Breakfast is in typical
Turkish style with cheeses,
eggs and a variety of local
home made jams with fresh
bread. We can provide
delicious meals and although
we have a kitchen we prefer to
buy fresh local ingredients
for your meal and require a
little notice if you require
anything other than the menu
that is available at the Bar.
We serve delicious sandwiches
and have a wide range of
cappachino and latto's. Just
ask and our chef can prepare
delicious steaks, fish or
local Turkish specialities.The
bar is open until whatever
time that you want to have
drinks or refreshment, however
after midnight we like to keep
the area reasonably quiet for
the enjoyment of the rest of
our guests. The bar is well
stocked with drinks ranging
from beer to a fine collection
of Scottish whisky. |

FACILITIES |
|
Staff are on duty 24 hours a
day to attend to all your
requirements. Most things we
can do straight away, however
the impossible usually takes a
little longer. At night times
we have a member of staff on
duty all night, allowing you
to come and go at whatever
time you please. The only rule
is to keep a little quiet
after midnight. We are not all
night owls.On the day that you
are leaving your room we
require you to leave your room
by 12.00 a.m., however we can
make special arrangements if
you let us know your
requirements. On the day that
you arrive you can use your
room after 12.00 a.m.,
although we are flexible if
you let us know in advance. |

SU VILLAS |
|
The Su Cottages
are situated off Turgutreis Caddesi in Serif Mehmet çikmazi.
Straight up the hill for 50 metres turn left and at the end
of the cul de sac you will see the wood and iron gates of
the cottages. The Lemon House is on the left through an
archway. The Tower House is through the gates on the right.If
you get lost simply ask any taxi driver for the Mausoleum
and you are only 200 metres away.
The cottages are Greek in origin and have a long and
colourful history. They were re-built in 2003.The theme of
the internal design is an Ottoman officer's house of the mid
nineteenth century. The internal fittings and fixtures
reflect that period, and include local carpets, kilims,
embroidery and antique Roman and Ottoman artefacts.The 21st
century is reflected by modern plumbing and lighting.
However we have remained faithful to our theme by utilising
local craftsman to make the kitchen and other detailed
fittings.Tiling in the bathrooms use designs from the Harem
at the Topkapi palace in Istanbul. The doors and windows are
of a typical Aegean design.Paving is reminiscent of the
Rhades courtyard.The fireplaces are unique. The stones
undoubtedly come from the ancient city of Halicarnassus and
are around 3.000 years old. |

THE TOWER HOUSE |
is tucked away
in a quiet backwater yet in the heart of the town. A mere
400 metres from the Western Harbour lies our beautiful
cottage. The delightful stone paved courtyard is shaded by
pergolas and garlanded with flowers. The Tower Cottage
offers exceptional charm and character coupled with modern
facilities.The Cottage offers you the opportunity to live in
the style and custom of the local people whilst having
friends at the Su to help and guide you.

THE LEMON HOUSE |
The Lemon house
tucked away in a quiet backwater yet in the heart of the

THE ARDMORE |
The Ardmore is a
spacious two-bedroom apartment sleeping four, or five using
a bed in the living room. There is a good standard of
western style plumbing and a self catering capability with
twin gas cooker and large fridge. Situated in the same quiet
bush and tree lined cul de sac as the Su Hotel it is approx.
5 minutes walk from Bodrum harbor, bus station and the
weekly markets. Decorated in classic Turkish style, the
rooms are comfortable, protected by iron grills and have
anti-mosquito nets fitted. They are cool in summer and there
is no heavy noise from the neighbours. Maid service, fresh
linen and towels are provided twice a week. Ardmore is NON-SMOKING.
If you wish to smoke then please do so in the garden.
Facing the property is an open field and there is a garden
and veranda on which to idle your time away. Within a one
minute walk is the main hotel, with its swimming pool, sun
terrace and English speaking staff who will happily provide
you with drinks, coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner,
as well as sort out any problems you may have.
Archaeological or general excursions (real ones, without
stops at leather factories etc. - be warned), transfers to
and from the airport (approx. 35 minutes), can also be
arranged. Whether you choose to sit in the shade, the garden,
or while away the day by the pool of the Su Hotel, Ardmore
and even more Bodrum awaits you. Once you have been here you
will never want to leave.Standard for all cottages and
aparts are Central heating, air Contional, electricity, bed
linen, bath and hand towels, tea towels and table linen are
all included.Meals We can provide either meals or a package
of local produce on request.If you want any special
arrangements then please do not hesitate to ask the Su
Hotel. We will make arrangements or recommend an itinerary
for you.
