Ottoman
house offers a characteristic
alternative to sleeping in a cave. Rooms
have basic twin beds, with kilims over
wall-to-wall carpeting and lace and pink
satin bedcovers that reveal a decidedly
female touch. The setup is a bit musty;
maybe they'd do well to rip up the wall-to-wall
carpet. The Ottoman House takes
advantage of brilliant perspectives over
Göreme with its rooftop restaurant and
open BBQ during the summer months, while
the Harem Bar, with its tapestries,
kilims, and copper tables, is a cozy and
traditional spot to spend an evening.
